Follydown Arabians returned to the breeding of pure bred arabians in 1994. We breed both show and endurance horses all horses are broken & ridden.

A new pure Crabbet mare has joined our farm Millbanda Crystal Rose we thank Debbielee White for selling us this lovely mare.

We have 3 pure Crabbet & 2 high percentage foals due in the spring. During this winter we have taken the opportunity to train all our horses & the only horses not broken now are some old mares & the very young stock.

We have moved our programme over to breeding pure & high percentage Crabbet Arabians. Our first pure Crabbet mare Veridan Risani lost her 2007 foal. We are very excited that we purchased the pure Crabbet mare Overdale Farm Rishalanie a Crescent Moon daughter who has given us a colt by Benediction. Yabissa a Sarafire daughter has been set to Boomori Kahlua to be bred.

Our aim has always been to breed horses that have good confirmation, movement, looks and most important temperament. We believe all our horses should be saddle broken but have pleasure in showing some of our young stock in halter classes. endurance. We breed for the joy of owning arabians.

We have an interesting collection of mares. The old Crabbet lines are well represented, we are particularly fond of the Wellworth horses bred by the late Mrs Tucker. One of these mares produced a beautiful stallion sired by Rasham.

We stand the stallion, Follydown Boysan & the pure Crabbet stallions Ebjarah Silver Ataan.Seen left talking to Boysan & Shahl. We have also retain a pure Crabbet colt by Arfaja Danyon Rafiq FA.

Tanderra Kadu our foundation stallion was sold to a top endurance breeding programme in New Zealand, Vigar stud he has recently died. We have retained some lovely daughters to breed on to our younger stallions. We are retaining the Kadu daughter Louloubel who has foaled a filly & Zanbuck . Kadu has been an exceptional show horse and his progeny both pure, anglo and warmblood cross are following in their father's hoof prints both at halter and under saddle particularly now in endurance with several being exported.

We have also taken the opportunity to use some of the exceptional stallions that are available in Australia. This year we have again sent a mares to both Abu Sayeid & Jayay Just Do It at Hideaway farm.

We hope you enjoy browsing through our web site of beautiful arabian horses, as much as we enjoy being guardians of this wonderful breed.
